WHEN I'M STILL

When I'm Still

When I'm still I hear You better.
You know what's my mind.
When I'm still I can write this letter
to Guardian of my cries.
When I'm still I confess my weakness
Joy or pain it brings
When I'm still You show You're holding me
And You let me sing...

When I'm still,
I trust in You
You write me on Your hand.
No safer hiding place
than in Your quiet, I will stand.
When I'm still,
I trust in You
I don't know Your will.
I just know to trust Your heart for me...
for me.
When I'm still.

When I'm still I know Your silence
is not You leaving me.
When I'm still You bring one word,
reveal such clarity.
When I'm still You tear the veil
unchain and set me free.
When I'm still You find a way
to show You're still loving me...

When I'm still,
I trust in You
You write me on Your hand.
No safer hiding place
than in Your quiet, I will stand.
When I'm still,
I trust in You
I don't know Your will.
I just know to trust Your heart// for me...
when I'm still.

When I'm still...
Revelation come!
Thy will be done!
I and the Father
We are One...
When I'm still...

When I'm still,
I trust in You
You write me on Your hand.
No safer hiding place
than in Your quiet, I will stand.
When I'm still,
I trust in You
I don't know Your will.
I just know to trust Your heart for me...
for me...
when I'm still.
When I'm still.

AND I SING

And I Sing

Blessed
Broken
Love, loved
Chosen

And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.

Grateful
Hoping
Sharing hands and feet
I'm stronger for my King.

And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.

Sing for the Father
Sing for the Son
Come on, Holy Spirit
Come into this one.
Sing for the Father
Sing for the Son
Come on, Holy Spirit
Come into this one.

And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.

Grateful.
Hoping.
Stronger.
My King.
I'm grateful.
I'm hoping.
I'm stronger
For my King.

Sing for the Father
Sing for the Son
Come on, Holy Spirit
Come into this one.
Sing for the Father
Sing for the Son
Come on, Holy Spirit
Come into this one.

And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.
And I sing.

LILY

LILY

Lily of the field.
A garden of dust, now hope is her yield.
Silence at the start; trust in a heart
when You...

Whisper the water that helps her to grow
A secret between what only two know.
Whisper the hope soon to reveal

a glory far beyond the yield...
a glory far beyond the yield.

Lily, she stands.
The words come down like rain from Your hands.
Each sun a new mercy a humbling glow
To heighten her beauty and only You know
when You...

Whisper the water that helps her to grow
A secret between what only two know.
Whisper the hope soon to reveal

a glory far beyond the yield.
A glory far beyond the yield.

Love~it pours on me! Love~it pours on me!
A joy she never, never thought she'd see.
Love~it pours on me! Love~it pours on me!
A joy she never, never thought she'd see.

Whisper the water that helps her to grow
A secret between what only two know.
Whisper the hope soon to reveal

a glory far beyond the yield...
a glory far beyond the yield.
His lily of the field.
His lily of the field.
His lily of the field.
His lily of the field.

RAIN DOWN

RAIN DOWN

"Love Me better.
Know Me more."
Things you've told me
told me before.
"Love Me better.
Know Me more."
Things you've told me
told me before.

And rain down...
rain down on me.
Rain down.
Rain down on me.

"Love, love.
My command.
Broken brother.
Help him stand.
Love, love.
My command.
Broken people
in My land."

And rain down...
rain down on me.
Rain down.
Rain down on me.

Rain on me
cover my eyes
Drown my skin
All inside.
Look down in love
on your child
Rain on me
Rain down

Rain, rain, come!
Rain, rain, come!

Father, Father!
We are One.
I am.
chosen.
Father, Father!
We are One..
I am
chosen.

And rain down...
rain down on me.
Rain down.
Rain down on me.

Rain on me
cover my eyes
Drown my skin
All inside.
Look down in love
on your child
Rain on me
Rain down

THE VINE

The Vine
(John 15: 1-17)

Look at me.
Cut from thorns.
Now I'm free.
Tender root, tended so lovingly.
Rebirth from barren land.
New as Spring, light in Your hand.
You say....

I am the Vine.
Wrap yourself in Me.
I am the Vine.
Get lost in this tree.
Abide with me.
You will see.
I am the Vine.

Beautiful creation.
Now all weeds are gone.
Sower of my future
now grows on and on and on.
And You say...

CHORUS

Be oh so near to me
Be my all, my everything.
Grow in, around, beside me
You are all.
You are all.
You say...

CHORUS

Abide with me.
You will see.
I am the Vine.
I am the Vine.

(C)2009 Krista Eyler

John 15:1-17~
1"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. 8This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

9"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17This is my command: Love each other.

THIRSTY

"Thirsty"
(Isaiah 44:5, Psalm 63:1)

Dry ground
Dusty at your feet
You see no water to wash you clean
Dry life
Dusty in your heart
You see no Father, let me help you start
and get...
Thirsty.
Your soul is drying out.
Drink from streams where life is pouring out.
Pour on me a love that saves.
In every moment of every hour of my days.
You're crawling.
Clinging to what's left
Look up, He won't leave you by yourself.
Find Him in the shadows of your soul.
You've been hiding too long
It's time to let go
and get...
Thirsty.
Your soul is drying out.
Drink from streams where life is pouring out.
Pour on me a love that saves.
In every moment of every hour of my days.
And this one will say, “I am the Lord's!”
This one will be what he wasn't before.
And I call out Your name and cry out,
“Give me water!”
I call out Your name and cry out,
“Give me water!”
Thirsty.
Your soul is drying out.
Drink from streams where life is pouring out.
Pour on me a love that saves.
In every moment of every hour
In every moment of every hour
In every moment of every hour of my days.
Give me water.
Give me water.

(C)2010 Krista Eyler

Isaiah 44:5~This one will say, "I am the Lord's." And that one will call on the name of Jacob; And another will write on his hand, "Belonging to the Lord." And will name Israel's name with honor.

Psalm 63:1~ O God, You are my God. I shall seek You earnestly. My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Where the River Goes

Where the River Goes
(Ezekiel 47:9; Luke 5:4)

Cast me out in the water.
Let me glide along that glass.
Throw me out; sink me deep.
Gonna hope this net is gonna hold me,
and hope everything will live where the river goes.

Beauty over the banks.
As far as I can see.
And all the birds are singing to me.
If I'm dreaming, please don't wake me
'cause everything will live where the river goes.

And everything will be, will be.
Just as if He made it for me.
And everything stretches farther than we know
'cause everything will live
where the river goes.

I'm floating, down, down, down.
Down, down, down.
I raise my hands,
and spin around.

A garden, oh, so green.
Perfect and pristine.
And there He is waiting for me.
He said, “Did you listen child? Now sit down with me.
Everything will live where the river goes.”

And everything will be, will be.
Just as if He made if for me.
And everything stretches farther than we know
'cause everything will live
where the river goes.
